What are the technical specifications on the Swhacker broadheads?

The 125 Grain Swhacker is 1 inch in-flight and expands to 2.25 inches after penetration.
The 100 Grain Swhacker is 1 inch in-flight and expands to 1.75 inches after penetration.

The blades are .032 inches thick, honed razor-sharp high quality stainless steel.
The point is made from hardened high-carbon steel and the ferrule is crafted from anodized aircraft aluminum.

What makes the Swhacker broadhead different from the rest?

Our unique blade design provides you with two separate cutting edges.

The Swhacker broadhead The first set of edges, also known as the wing blades, are used for cutting the hide and the first set of ribs. These blades are also used to open the broadhead, and are much smaller than the main blades. They take the most punishment by cutting through the hair, dirt, hide, and bones during entry. The smaller blades take less energy to penetrate through the first side than an "open on impact" broadhead. These wing blades also provide a load bearing surface for the ferrule during impact.

The second set of edges, or the main blades do not touch anything during the initial penetration. They still have "virgin" edges when they open in the body cavity. This allows the main blades to remain razor sharp for the internal organs.

What about angled shots?

Angled shots are not a problem with the Swhacker. The tip of the head enters the animal well before the blades impact. This eliminates cantilevering, or deflections as the blades open. Six Swhacker Broadhead (100 Grain) replacement blades & extra shrink tubing.

How to install replacement blades:
Insert blades into the slot of the ferrule (the arrow head). Secure in place with the setscrew. Insure that the blades rotate freely from open to closed.

How to install shrink tubing:
Place a single band over the tip with the blades fully enclosed in the slot. Slide the band down the ferrule until it is in the slot. Slide the band down the ferrule until it is in the retaining groove. The Blades may move slightly. If the band does not stay in the retaining groove, use a heat source such as a pocket lighter or a hair dryer to shrink the band down. Care should be taken to not overheat the band.

CAUTION:This product is EXTREMELY sharp. Serious injury can occur if handled improperly. Please follow the instructions carefully.
